This is the story of a girl named Lillian: The girl who only had one dream.

"Her sea-side eyes are the kind you'd tear out and nail to your ceilings; so that there would always be someone to watch over you. Always."

She sleeps with vermillion laced nightmares and radio-static dreams. Nobody knows why though, she can't dream anyways, and she already lives in her nightmares. But Lillian does enjoy one thing- something most of us take for granted, water. She loves the water and the sea, she says it's like floating, and however much that you sink- you can always climb back up, and float again. That's why her eyes reflect the sparkles of the ripples.
Lillian and the water may be two different objects- maybe even with two different hearts; and as connected as they might be. They can only maintain one heart, because it takes less maintenance.

"She doesn't breathe; not anymore at least."

She rips out her teeth from her gums and replaces them with the pearls she finds inside the mouths of the decayed clams she finds at the sea's feet. She says her teeth will always shine no-matter how many shattered grins she dons throughout the day.
Maybe she can shine her way to the top, and maybe, with the pearls, someone will love her.

"Why did she chain that anchor to her throat?"

Lillian sunk too deep into the water today. Too, too deep. She wanted to be a fish (that's her one-and-only dream), and since fishes don't actually breathe, she dived into the water without taking a breath. Then she swan to her king's, the sea's, feet and laid there until the end. As her lungs collapsed, and her rib-cage exploded from the waters force. She was where she wanted to be- in the water:
